"The subscription feels a bit too expensive"
Nest works alright, but I don’t love the subscription setup. After already paying for the camera, it’s kind of annoying to have to pay every month just to keep some of the features that actually make it useful. It adds up quickly. I like the app well enough, but for the price, I expected more to be included without extra fees

"Really clean and solid-looking"
So... I got my Nest set up a few weeks ago, i’m happy with how it looks. The design is super clean, and it feels well built, not like cheap plastic. It sits nicely on the wall and blends in without sticking out in a weird way.

"I was having trouble getting my Nest..."
I was having trouble getting my Nest camera back online after switching my WiFi, and i figured support would probably take forever to answer. But they actually got back to me in about an hour, which surprised me.

The person helping me was really patient and gave clear steps that didn’t feel like some Copy-paste response. I had it working again the same day, so yeah, Happy with how quick they were.

"A whole year later and this thing is still a champ"
I’ve had my Nest thermostat for about a year now, it’s been ridiculously reliable. It just works every single time, no drama, no random shutoffs, no weird issues that make me want to pull my hair out. At this point, I’m almost emotionally attached to it because it’s one of the few gadgets in my house that hasn’t betrayed me.

"Easy app, but the waiting is annoying"
The app is easy to use and I figured things out quickly. My only frustration is the waiting, it can feel a bit slow at times, which gets annoying when I just want to get something done

"I’ve been using Nest for a while now..."
I’ve been using Nest for a while now, and it reminds me of that little feeling when you double-check the front door before bed and can finally relax. The privacy controls make me feel better about having smart devices around the house, and the alerts feel dependable without being annoying. Logging in is simple, and I like being able to see what’s connected at a glance. So far, there haven’t been any weird data surprises, which is a big reason I’ve stuck with it

"Works great with my other smart stuff"
I got my Nest set up with my lights, thermostat, and Google speakers, and it all seems to talk to each other smoothly. I was a little confused at first because I expected more setup or menus to mess with, but it mostly just worked. The app is easy to use too. I did have one weird hiccup when adding a camera, but a quick reboot fixed it. So far I’m really happy with it.

"Nice camera, but night vision isn’t exactly what I expected"
The video is clear most of the time, so no real complaints there. During the day it looks good, but the night view could definitely be better. Based on how it was presented, I kind of expected it to handle low light better than it does.

"Really reliable for the money"
I’ve had it set up for a few months now, the connection has been rock solid. My older smart devices used to drop off Wi-Fi constantly, which got annoying fast, but the nest has stayed connected and responds quickly. I only had to restart it once after a router update, so that wasn’t a big deal. For how little trouble it’s been, I’d say it’s definitely worth it

"Kind of pricey, but maybe still worth it"
I’ve got mixed feelings about Nest’s pricing. On one hand, it does feel a little expensive for what you’re actually getting, especially if you’re not using all the features regularly. But at the same time, some of the tools are genuinely helpful and can make things easier. I guess it really depends on how much you’ll use it. I’d probably compare it with a few cheaper options first, even though I can see why some people would still think it’s worth paying for.

"I don’t know, I just had this feeling..."
I don’t know, I just had this feeling it was going to be a whole thing to set up, but it really wasn’t. The app kind of guided me through everything, and before I knew it, it was up and running in like 20 minutes. So far there’s been nothing weird or frustrating, and I’m just really happy with it.

I wasn’t expecting a huge difference, but my power bill did go down a bit after setting it up. The setup was simple, and I liked that I got the receipt and confirmation email right away so I knew everything went through.

"Warranty return was surprisingly painless"
I had to send my thermostat back under warranty, which I wasn’t looking forward to. But to be fair, Nest handled it quickly and didn’t make it a hassle. The replacement showed up a few days later, so I can’t really complain.
